Man recovering after being shot, robbed in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – A 22-year-old man is recovering after reportedly being robbed and shot on Tuesday evening in the Lindenwood section of Norfolk.

Norfolk Police say they received a call just before 6:45 p.m. in reference to a man that had been shot.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

The man told police that he had been driving int he 700 block of Lindenwood Avenue when he was approached by two unknown men.

The three men began to argue and the two suspects took money from the victim and shot him before running away from the area.

Both suspects are described as black men in their late teens to early 20s.
