Police investigating multiple crimes at Virginia Beach Walmart

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police need your help identifying individuals involved in four separate crimes at the Walmart on 1149 Nimmo Parkway.

On Saturday, January 2 at 4:30 p.m., two men came into the store and switched price tags on an item to buy it at a cheaper price.

Both subjects are described as black males, between 5’9” to 6’ tall, and around 150 to 190 pounds. One suspect, wearing a black hoodie, is believed to be 30 to 40 years old. The second man is believed to be 25-35 years old.

On January 3, around 8:30 a.m., the person in the photo entered the store and selected a battery valued at over $100 and passed all points of sale without paying.

This individual is believed to be in his late teens or early 20’s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall and 130 to 150 pounds.

Another incident was reported that evening (January 3) at approximately 11 p.m. The suspect got into a verbal argument with someone at the self-checkout. The argument escalated and the suspect started punching the victim in the face repeatedly, until

someone intervened and broke up the fight.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, medium complexion, 20 to 25 years old, about 5’7” and around 175 pounds. He was last seen running through the parking lot of Virginia Beach Baptist Church on Newstead Drive. Police say he is believed to be known by the name John Keene.

The fourth crime occurred on Monday, January 4 at 6:20 p.m. The suspect approached the self-checkout and didn’t scan all of the items in his shopping cart before leaving the store without paying for all the items.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, 5’10” tall and 210 pounds.
