Newport News, Va.- Police are investigating a shooting that has left one man shot and suffering life threatening injuries. Officers were patrolling 36th Street and Chestnut Avenue when they heard several gunshots.
Within seconds police got a call of a shooting at 31st Street and Oak Avenue.
A 25-year-old male was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was conscious but is suffering life-threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information at this time.
