San Francisco, Calif. - The Denver Broncos may have luck on their side for the big game on Sunday as Rocky the Colorado Leprechaun cheers on the team from the sidelines.

The NewsChannel 3 team caught up with the leprechaun at Super Bowl City where fans were standing by to take their picture with him.

"33 years I've been leading the cheers at Denver Broncos games and this is my 7th Super Bowl," said Rocky.

Of the 7 Super Bowls that Rocky spread his good luck on, only two came out as victories for the Broncos, but they were back to back wins. It was Super Bowl XXXII in 1997 when Denver beat the Green Bay Packers and the following year the Broncos beat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII.

"Well, they [the Broncos] have been coming back and forth, and ya know now they've been declared America's team, so this is broncos country!" said Rocky.

Looks like we'll have to wait and see if the luck of the Irish rubs off on the Broncos this Sunday.
