Tracking sunshine and some rain for the weekend….The weather system that brought us rain and snow on our Friday morning has moved well offshore, allowing our skies to clear and cooler weather to settle in. So as we move through this Friday night, expect mostly clear skies and low temperatures in the lower 30s. The winds will settle down a bit, too, blowing in from the north between 5 and 10 mph tonight.

On Saturday, we’re expecting a rather nice start to the weekend. We’ll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s. On Super Bowl Sunday, clouds will build across the area. While most of the day will be dry, a few showers will creep in by the evening as an area of low pressure moves up the coast. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

More rain moves in for Monday and Tuesday with another low pressure system. However, some of that rain could turn to snow by Tuesday.  We’ll keep an eye on it over the next few days.

Friday Night: Mostly Clear and Cold. Low temperatures in the low 30s. Winds: N 5-10 mph.

Saturday: Sun and Clouds. Cool. High temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Sunday: Partly Sunny. Chance of PM Rain (30%). High temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds: 10-20 mph.
