Portsmouth, Va.- Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 300 block of Bedford Court Saturday morning.
When they arrived on scene they found a fire and smoke in one of the bedrooms.
Crews were able to put the fire out within minutes.
Two people were home at the time and made it out safely. The bedroom sustain a lot of smoke damage.
No one was hurt and the Red Cross is assisting the residents.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
