Newport News, Va. – Newport News Police are searching for someone who they believe stabbed a man.
On February 17, officers responded to Plaza Azteca on 12099 Jefferson Avenue for reports of a male with a knife.
When officials arrived, they spoke with a man who says that he found the side door to the restaurant splattered with blood.
No one was in the area when the man arrived.
Officers later received information that the stabbing victim arrived at a local hospital.
He had stab wounds to his shoulder and back, his injuries are non-life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
