The Midtown Tunnel has reopened after being shut down both ways due to a disabled tractor-trailer.
Elizabeth River Tunnels sent out an alert around noon, encouraging drivers to use an alternative route, including the I-264 Downtown Tunnel.
Both lanes were opened around 12:40 p.m. Traffic is now moving, but drivers should still expect a few delays in both directions.
