Oregon Inlet, NC - A fisherman is going to be out of business for awhile after a wave ripped off the top of his boat on Tuesday.
The boat is called, "Risky Business" and it lost its flying bridge when Captain Jamie Wescott was heading into the ocean from the Oregon Inlet.
Wescott says the shallow water there can always be a problem.
His craft was just hit by the wave at the wrong time.
Wescott says the top fell down, but it was still connected with some tubing and wiring.
That gave him and his crew time to tie it down and secure it.
Fixing the boat will take up to two weeks.
