Home-schooled children from Hampton Roads were able to enjoy Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin during the museum’s “Home School Day” on Tuesday.
The museum featured hands-on science programs, demonstrations and 3D movies at a discounted price for Hampton Roads home-schoolers and their parents.
Children were able to take part in education programs, including ROV workshops, “Great Guns of Fire” and “Science on the Sphere,” as well as a LEGO shipbuilding activity inside the Hampton Roads Naval Museum.
