Three Hampton Roads cities among hardest working cities in U.S.

A new study set out to find the hardest working cities in America.

Financial websiteWallet Hub compared 116 of the largest cities based on six key metrics from “labor force participation rate” to “average weekly work hours” to “number of workers with multiple jobs.”

The Wallet Hub study found that Anchorage, Alaska was the top hardest working city in America.

Three Hampton Roads cities made the list. Virginia Beach was the second hardest working city, Chesapeake came in at number 17 and Norfolk at 27.
