Norfolk, Va. – A man has been sentenced to four years behind bars after his role in eight armed robberies in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.
Raymond Wyche of Chesapeake was sentenced to the maximum penalty.
He is accused of robbing three 7-Elevens in Virginia Beach, Wilco Hess, Exxon, BP, and Gulf.
He pleaded guilty on December 3rd, 2015.
Officials say the robbery spree started on February 11, 2014 when he robbed a 7-Eleven on 6673 Indian River Road in Virginia Beach.
They say he went on to rob a Wilco Hess on March 19, 7-Eleven on March 25, Exxon on April 25, BP on June 6, Exxon on June 25, another 7-Eleven on June 29 and a Gulf station on July 16.
