Norfolk, Va. – The Tri-City Automatic Aid program dispatches the nearest available engine company to the scene of an emergency regardless of whether the incident is in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, or Norfolk.

It was launched in May 4, of 2015 after the reworking of each city’s previously independent street mapping system, dispatch and training procedures.
