Not a World Series win, but Chicago Cubs give 100-year-old fan a special gift

Cubs fans everywhere are crossing their fingers that this is finally the year.

Few have lived through more of the team's ups and downs than Chicago native Kate Harris.

As she approaches her 100th birthday, the Cubs gave her a gift she'll never forget.

She threw out the first pitch at today’s Spring Training game against the Diamondbacks.

Harris says she wants to live to see a Cubs World Series win and thinks this is the year - but of course she's been saying that since she was 12 years old and became a Cubs fan while home with Scarlet Fever.
