Hampton, Va. – Officers from Newport News’s South Precinct and The City of Hampton teamed up for the Coffee with a Cop event in Hampton.
The event took place on March 16 at the Hardee’s located at 8104 Newmarket Drive.
They spoke with members of the community from 8:30a.m.-10:30a.m.
There were no set schedules or any speeches, just a chance for members of the community to hold a conversation with their local officers.
This initiative of this event was designed to provide both citizens and officers an opportunity to interact with each other in a relaxed setting.
