Norfolk, Va. – If you take I-564, get ready for lane closures this week.
These closures start on Sunday, March 20 and end on March 25th.
This is due to construction relating to the I-564 Intermodal Connector Project.
These closures will extend about one half mile between I-564 Chambers Airfield Tunnel at Naval Air Station Norfolk to I-564/SR 406/Terminal Blvd. Hampton exit.
Closures will happen as scheduled unless weather causes delays.
Lane closures are as follows:
Sunday, March 20
I-564 Westbound, 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Lane closed: I-564 single left lane
Monday, March 21
I-564 Eastbound, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 right shoulder/right lane

Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane/center lane
Tuesday, March 22
I-564 Eastbound, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 right shoulder/right lane
I-564 Westbound, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 23 through Friday, March 25
I-564 Eastbound, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
