Are you a local entrepreneur or an inventor?

Retail giant Walmart says it wants to help make your dreams come true.

The company is inviting folks in Hampton Roads to pitch their ideas or product for its “Made in America” manufacturing summit.

“We are opening our doors and making our buyers available to meet with suppliers with one goal in mind: buy more American products,” said Cindi Marsiglio, Walmart’s vice president of U.S. Sourcing and Manufacturing. “From food to toys to apparel, and companies large and small from coast to coast, we want to make a deal with you for your U.S. made products.”

The summit is an open call meeting and Walmart says deals can be made on the spot.

If you want to pitch your idea, now is the time to start planning your trip.

The event is being held in Arkansas in June.
