A cold and windy weekend… Expect a nice mix of sun and clouds today with highs near 60. A stray shower is possible but most areas will stay dry. It will still be breezy but not as gusty as yesterday.
Winds will crank up again and temperatures will fall for the weekend. Expect highs near 50 both Saturday and Sunday. Low temperatures will fall to near or below the freezing point Saturday night into Sunday morning. Winds will gust to near 40 mph on Saturday but will begin to calm on Sunday.
We will see scattered showers on Saturday with a mix of clouds. Expect a first round of showers early Saturday morning and a second round Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. As temperatures fall after dark, a few snowflakes could mix in for parts of the Peninsulas and Eastern Shore. Snow accumulation will be little to none, with most of us seeing none. Sunshine will return for Sunday.
