(CNN) — A drone apparently struck a plane headed into London’s Heathrow Airport on Sunday, Metropolitan Police said.
The plane was headed from Geneva, Switzerland, to London when the pilot said he thought a drone had struck the aircraft, police said.
After the plane landed safely at Heathrow, authorities said they believe a drone struck the front of the aircraft.
No arrests have been made, but police are investigating.
