NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A new grocery store opens in the Southeast Community Tuesday.
The goal of Jim’s Local Market is to provide affordable food to people in areas with limited food access.
A ribbon cutting and grand opening is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the store located in the Brooks Crossing development.
The store will open to customers immediately following the ceremony.
Jim’s Local Market is located at 3101 Jefferson Ave.
