DENVER, N.C. – A 4.5-foot copperhead snake bit a customer Monday afternoon at the Lowe’s Home Improvement store about 20 miles northeast of Charlotte.
The East Lincoln Fire Department posted a picture on Facebook of the snake inside of a bag.
They’re warning customers to be careful of snakes in trees of any store that has a gardening department.
The customer was alert and conscious when firefighters arrived, according to WBTV. The bite victim’s condition is not known at this time.
