Chesapeake, Va. (WTKR) – An all clear has been given after Chesapeake Regional Medical Center received a bomb threat that forced it to close to new patients and visitors.
No device was found.
Chesapeake Police and Fire with assistance from Virginia State Police, Virginia Beach Police and the Norfolk Airport Authority searched the entire campus.
The call was received at the Chesapeake Dispatch Center at 4:19 pm with fire department personnel arriving on scene nine minutes later.
The all clear was given around 10:00 pm Saturday night.
