NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Public Safety Day will take place on June 4 at the Target on N. Military Highway from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The purpose of the day is to promote all-hazards awareness and give citizens a chance to interact with safety officials, insurance organizations and utility companies.
In attendance will be Norfolk Fire-Rescue, the Norfolk Police Department, Public Works, Dominion Power, the Health Department, and the Medical Reserve Corps, just to name a few.
There will be displays from first responders, child fingerprinting, and safety programs available as well.
