An apparent case of road rage turned into a violent hit-and-run on Monday in Florida.
Witnesses say it started with a car cutting off a group of motorcyclists in Tampa. An exchange of angry words followed. Then, what appears to be a deliberate attack by the driver of the car — all caught on video!
Witness Abe Garcia took a video that is now going viral on his Facebook page. Garcia says the road rage started a half-mile down the road when the driver of the car that hit the motorcyclists cut them off, nearly running the same motorcyclists off the road.
Down the street at a red light, Garcia says the driver and motorcyclists started yelling at each other, so he started recording because he says he wanted to document what could happen for police.
“That’s all I really wanted to happen. I knew something was going to go down. I didn’t know that extreme at all but people are crazy man…” he says.
The witness says police arrested the driver of the car just down the road minutes later.
The two motorcycle passengers were reportedly hospitalized.
