Meteorologist April Loveland’s First Warning Forecast
Tracking hot and humid conditions for the weekend…after comfortable conditions over the past couple days, we have a very summer-like forecast on tap for the weekend.
Winds will shift to the south and west this weekend, bringing in more heat and humidity. Highs will climb into the low 90s both days. Dew points will climb into the upper 60s to near 70, making it feel about 5 degrees warmer. As conditions heat up throughout the day, a pop-up shower or storm is possible both Saturday and Sunday. It will be a little on the breezy side with winds 10 to 15 mph.
Highs will fall back into the low 80s to start the work week. Rain and storm chances will increase for midweek.
Friday night: Partly Cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 60s. Winds: S 5-10
Saturday: Partly Cloudy, with a pop-up shower or storm possible in the afternoon (20%). Highs near 90. Winds: SW 5-15
