GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. – The Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a man involved in an abduction and rape investigation.

Deputies received a complaint from a woman who said Robert “Bobby” Stokes, 57, sexually assaulted her on June 9.

Stokes is listed as a violent sex offender on the Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry and has outstanding warrants for the sexual assault that happened on June 9.

Stokes was last seen Thursday evening in the area of Rangtang Road and John Clayton Memorial Highway.

Stokes is described as a black male,  5’7″ tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
