A severe thunderstorm warning was issued Sunday evening for Gates County and Northeastern Hertford County in Northeastern North Carolina and the southwestern city of Suffolk in southeastern Virginia. The warning expired at 7:45 pm. Storm reports included, trees uprooted and some roof damage due to downed trees. Below are viewer photos from the storms.
