Meteorologist April Loveland’s First Warning Forecast

Winds have died down a bit tonight. Coastal flooding is possible tonight especially areas of southeast Virginia along the south side of the James River and the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake. The rip current risk is still moderate so exercise caution. Lows tonight in the lowers 60s.

A small craft advisory remain in effect until 6:00 pm Sunday.

Father’s day will be another sunny day will highs near 80. Wind will continue to ease throughout the day. The rip current risk will be moderate.

Next chance for showers and storms on Wednesday.
