NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A 31-year-old man was shot in the ankle early Sunday morning. Police responded to the shooting in the 600 block of Dresden Drive.
The call came in at 1:43 am Sunday. Newport News Police said they don’t know who shot the man or if he was purposely shot. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
