NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Newport News Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that left a man with life threatening injuries.
Police were sent to the 1200 block of 26th Street just before midnight after receiving reports of a shooting.
Officers arrived and found a 24-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to both legs and his abdomen.
The man was transported to a local hospital with possible life threatening injuries.
No information on a suspect was given.
