SURRY COUNTY, Va. – The Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in the 17000 block of White Marsh Road Tuesday evening.
Deputies arrived and found an adult male with a gunshot wound on the side porch.
The victim didn’t reside at the property but was known by the property owner.
Deputies believe the victim was part of a dispute.
He was air-lifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and is expected to survive.
