VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is hosting it’s 30th Annual 5K and Giving Campaign on July 4.
The purpose of the 5K is to help bring reality by strengthening the foundations of Hampton Roads communities.
All ages are invited to run and by participating you are helping others in the community by supporting Child Care, Swim Lessons, and Health and Wellness programs.
The race will also be supporting Youth and Teen activities, Older Adult Programs, and Summer Camp.
To participate in the 5K you are being asked to pay a registration fee of $30 before the fourth of July. Prices will increase to $35 on the day the event. Kids 3-5 are free.
Runners are asked to wear red, white, and blue and prizes will be given to those that dress the most patriotic!
