Meteorologist April Loveland's First Warning Forecast

Tracking the heat and humidity, along with more thunderstorms…Another very warm and humid night in store. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight. Any storms that develop could produce heavy rain and gusty winds. We’ll keep a close eye on the radar for you.

By Friday and Saturday, our temperatures will soar into the mid and upper 90s, with heat index values in the triple digits. This will likely be some of the hottest weather we've seen this year, especially Saturday, so take your precautions! A cold front will move through the area Saturday afternoon, which could produce a few showers and storms as it crosses. We'll keep an eye on it. By Sunday, expect some relief as the front moves to our south. Highs will drop into the upper 80s into Monday.

Overnight: Partly Cloudy. Scattered Showers/Storms (25%). Low temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: Sun and Cloud Mix. Chance of Showers/Storms (25%). High temperatures in the low and mid 90s. Winds: W 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow night: Slight chance for a shower or storm. Lows in the mid to upper 70s.
