PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A Domino's Pizza delivery driver was robbed and shot while out on a delivery in Portsmouth on Wednesday night.
The driver was attempting to make a delivery to a home in the 400 block of Bunche Boulevard just before 11 p.m. when two men wearing masks approached him, according to police.
Police say the driver was shot in the lower leg as one of the men tried to rob him of the pizza and cash at gunpoint.
Police and medics arrived and found the victim at the intersection of Gust Lane and Allard Road. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
