Meteorologist April Loveland’s First Warning Forecast

We’re tracking more heat and humidity today…in fact, it’ll be our hottest day so far this year. Highs will soar to the mid to upper 90s. When we factor in the humidity, it’ll feel like the triple digits. Be sure to take the proper precautions if you will be outdoors. Drink plenty of fluids and don’t forget about your pets! A slight chance for an afternoon scattered shower or storm as a cold front pushes through. Any storms that develop could bring heavy rain and gusty winds. We’ll get some relief heading into Sunday. Plenty of sunshine with highs that are seasonable for this time of year in the mid to upper 80s.

Heading into next week, highs will actually be a bit below normal with highs in the mid-80s.

Have a great weekend!

Saturday: Sun and Clouds. Chance of Storms (30%). High temperatures in the mid and upper 90s with feel-like temperatures in the triple digits. Winds: W 5-10 mph.

Saturday night: Slight chance for a shower or storm. Lows in the lower 70s.
