PERQUIMANS Co., N.C. - Almost a year after five of the Jackson brothers took plea deals for sexually assaulting a young girl they knew over a ten year period, the trial for the last remaining brother started Monday.

Aaron Jackson is the only one of the six who refused to take a plea deal.

Tuesday, Aaron Jackson took the witness stand during his own trial. He told the judge he and the victim didn't have a sexual relationship. He said only one time they touched with their clothes on, but that was it.

He said he knew it was wrong, and he didn't want his parents to find out.

His story was much different than what the victim testified to on Monday. She said Aaron, along with the other five brothers, sexually abused her for years.

The abuse allegedly started when the girl was just four years old and lasted until she was 14.

We also heard from several of Aaron's brothers, who have all plead guilty to the sexual assault of the victim.

One brother, Nathaniel, who's currently in prison for incest, told the judge he used to bribe the victim with candy in order for her to dance sexually for him.

The brothers' parents, John and Nita Jackson, knew about the abuse and did nothing to stop it. They took plea deals last year.

Both were sentenced to a minimum of 31 months in prison and a maximum of 47.
