According to court documents, an undercover FBI agent discovered that Ronald Miltier had been downloading and possessing files containing child pornography through a peer-to-peer software program.

Miltier routinely deleted the files so only 11 files were found during the agent’s search of Miltier’s laptop and hard drive.

Further investigation revealed that Miltier often searched for child pornography and downloaded hundreds, if not thousands, of files with names associated with child pornography.

Miltier faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on each count of conviction when sentenced on October 18.
