MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Hillary Clinton is set to speak to more than 3,000 delegates at the first day of the American Federation of Teachers Convention.

The convention takes place from July 18 to July 21 in Minneapolis.

The American Federation of Teachers was the first national organization to endorse Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president.

“Since our endorsement last July before the primaries, the stakes in this election have been raised significantly. Hillary Clinton is the right person for the job,” said AFT President Weingarten. “It will be an honor and a privilege to have Hillary speak to our educators, school support staff, higher education faculty and staff, healthcare professionals and public employees, many of whom worked very hard during the primary season to help elect her.”
