Norfolk, Va. - All week long, restaurants in Downtown Norfolk are offering great deals on delicious meals to celebrate Restaurant Week.
And if you're a foodie in Hampton Roads, you've probably heard of Todd Jurich. He's been cooking up delicious food in the Tidewater area for 40 years, so you know he knows how to do restaurant week right!
"We've been doing restaurant week since its inception," says Jurich. "I'm not even sure how long that is now, but it's been a lot of fun through the years. We enjoy having the chance to take care of our regular customers, as well as bringing in a lot of new customers. And its just more of an event than a good deal. People just come out to be seen so it’s a lot of fun!"
The bistro, located at 150 W Main Street right across from Nauticus, has a menu thats always changing to fit whats fresh. They have something for everyone.
"Our duck its just a seared maple leaf duck with faro mushroom risotto," says Jurich.
Another dish people keep coming back for?
"Our tomato salad," says Jurich. "Homegrown heirloom tomatoes from Connie Wise in Virginia Beach and we make our own mozzarella and serve it warm with olive oil, sea salt, and some fresh basil... So that’s hard to resist."
