NORFOLK, Va. - A 28-year-old man was shot Thursday night in the 7200 block of Chesapeake Boulevard.
Norfolk Police were called to the scene around 11:15 p.m.
The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The man told police that he was standing outside near his car when two unknown black men walked up to him and attempted to rob him. That's when he says he was shot.
