MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif. – A Marine pilot based out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar was killed in an F/A-18C Hornet crash late Thursday.
The Third Marine Aircraft Wing pilot was training near Twentynine Palms, Calif. in the Mojave Desert around 10:30 p.m.
The name of the pilot has not yet been released. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
