CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Lightning caused a home in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake to catch on fire Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 900 block of Riddlehurst Avenue at 9:14 a.m.
When they arrived six minutes later, they saw a single family home with smoke and flames coming from the attic.
The fire was under control shortly before 9:30 a.m.
The fire was contained to the attic and roof of the home.
Two people will be displaced until the home is repaired.
