A quiet night in store with lows in the low to mid-70s. Dewpoints have backed off a bit, making for a more comfortable night on tap. Conditions will remain unsettled over the next few days as a frontal system remains stalled to our south. A few disturbances will affect us meaning chances for some showers and a possible storm as we head into the beginning of the workweek. Just keep that umbrella handy! Temperatures will be in the 80s for most of the week.

Overnight: Quiet and calm. Lows in the low to mid 70s. Winds E around 5 mph.

Monday: Unsettled. A chance for scattered showers and a rumble of thunder (30%). Highs in the low to mid 80s. Winds: E 5-10 mph.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers (30%). Winds: E 5-10 mph.

A trough of low pressure continues to produce widespread cloudiness and disorganized thunderstorms over the Gulf of Mexico and Florida panhandle. Although tropical cyclone formation is not expected, heavy rainfall that could result in flooding is likely over northern Florida and the panhandle during the next few days.

An area of disturbed water is located east of the central Bahamas. Development, if any, of this disturbance is expected to be slow to occur while it moves northward off the coast of the southeastern United States.
