Police on scene after a child was hit by a vehicle in Norfolk on August 8, 2016.
NORFOLK, Va. – Police are investigating after a child was struck in a hit and run Monday night.
According to police dispatch, the incident happened at the intersection of St. Paul Street and Nicholson Street shortly before 9 p.m.
Both Norfolk Police and Fire-Rescue crews responded.
The child was not injured enough to need to be taken to a hospital.
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle who fled the scene.
