VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Kroger will start offering online ordering to customers in Hampton Roads, starting with their Kroger Marketplace store on Holland Road on August 11.

The online ordering system, called ClickList, will be available on the store’s website. Customers create a shopping list, select a pick-up time, and place their order. Once the order is placed, a Kroger associate shops the store to fulfill the order and stores it in temperature-appropriate zones until the customer arrives.

The ClickList service costs $4.95 and is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Our customers in nearby markets have celebrated the convenience the ClickList brings to their everyday life – and we’ve been eager to bring this to our shoppers in Hampton Roads,” said Anne Jenkins, spokesperson for Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic Division. “We’re always looking for ways to help our customers save money and now we can help our customers save something priceless – their time.”

The ClickList system will be launched in two other stores in Hampton Roads in 2016 — the Suffolk Kroger Marketplace and the newly opened Kroger Marketplace in Chesapeake.
