First Warning Forecast: Tracking triple digit heat

The First Warning Storm Team is continuing to track oppressive conditions through your weekend.

A warm and humid night on tap, with lows in the mid to upper 70s. Could see some patchy fog late tonight into your morning commute.

Highs Friday with soar into the mid 90s with heat index values near 105°. Mostly dry conditions with a mixture of sun and clouds. An isolated shower or storm is possible in the afternoon and evening.

If you’re not enjoying this heat, brace yourself, the weekend highs will be in the mid 90s with heat index values 105° to 110°! Be sure to take the proper precautions if you are to be out and about. Drink plenty of fluids! An isolated shower is possible through the weekend, better rain chances heading into next week with an approaching cold front. Some good news for next week, a day in the 80s.

Tomorrow: Patchy AM fog. Partly cloudy. Isolated showers/storms (10%). Highs in the low to mid 90s. Winds: SSW 5-10 mph.
