NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Catalyst Effect, a local empowerment training company, provided families with school supplies on Saturday.
The event was called IMPACT 2016 and organizers gave away backpacks, school supplies, and clothes.
Families also enjoyed food, activities, and the presence of community resources.
The goal was to give healthy support and hope to the community.
According to organizers, over 2,000 people in the community were served supplies!
