Inmate, 22-year-old Kyle Austin
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – Police have located an inmate that escaped on Tuesday.
The inmate, 22-year-old Kyle Austin was captures near the Aviation State Park in Kill Devil Hills.
He walked away from work detail on Ehringhaus St. near the McDonalds.
Austin was seen around 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday running toward Pritchard Street near Hariot Drive.
Austin is serving a two year sentence in the North Carolina Pasquotank Correctional Institution for possession of narcotics.
He has family and friends in the Outer Banks police originally thought he could possibly be heading in that direction.
