Newport News Citgo robbed at gunpoint

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – An Oyster Point Citgo was robbed at gunpoint Friday night, according to Police.

Crews responded to a call about an armed robbery at 12100 Jefferson Ave. around 7:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black male who is 6 feet tall and about 170 pounds.

He was wearing a black jacket, hat, jeans and a Steelers jacket. He is armed with a handgun.

The suspect robbed the clerk and a customer in the store and drove away in a red Chevy Blazer.

There were no injuries reported in this incident.
