VIRGINIA BEACH, Va – Two Virginia Beach teachers of the year Brad Ward and Bevin Reinen, and News 3’s Kim Cung will fly with the Blue Angels on Tuesday.

Three finalists were selected to fly in the backseat of a F/A-18D jet. One week ago, the finalists got a tour of NAS Oceana and a sneak peek at what the flight entails.

"I was just incredibly excited. This is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity and I was just thrilled to get the chance to do something totally unique," said Bevin Reiman.

“It’s the Blue Angels. Like it doesn’t get better than the Blue Angels, so being able to fly with them I mean it’s something I’ve thought about since I can remember," said Brad Ward.

Each flight lasts 45 minutes. Stay tuned to see the adrenaline rushing video of each flyer's experience online and on-air.
